Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 February 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of velvetstreamerau.com and any advisory services delivered by Velvetstreamerau Advisory Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By using the site or engaging our advisory desk, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
Velvetstreamerau Advisory Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary company (ACN 627 481 053 · ABN 41 627 481 053), incorporated in 2018 and based in Sydney, New South Wales. We operate the trading name 'Velvetstreamerau' for our financial literacy, household-support and small-business advisory work.
2. Nature of the service
We provide independent financial literacy, household-budget guidance and assistance with applications for Australian government payments, grants, tax offsets, rebates and stimulus programs. We are not a government agency, we are not affiliated with the Commonwealth of Australia, the Australian Taxation Office or Services Australia, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome from any application we help prepare. Final eligibility is always determined by the relevant Australian authority.
3. Information on this website
The content of this website is provided for general information only. It does not take into account your personal circumstances and does not constitute personal financial, legal or tax advice. Before acting on anything you read here, you should consider whether it is appropriate to your situation and, where relevant, obtain professional advice. We update the site in good faith, but Australian public-support programs change frequently; we cannot guarantee that every page is current at the moment you read it.
4. Engagement and fees
An advisory engagement begins only once both parties have signed a written engagement letter. Initial eligibility reviews are provided without charge; ongoing advisory work, application preparation and document handling are charged in accordance with the fees set out in your engagement letter. We do not accept contingent fees calculated as a percentage of any government payment you receive. Quoted fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide complete, accurate and current information when we are working on your file, to keep us informed of changes that may affect your eligibility, and not to misuse the website (for example, by attempting to extract data, send unsolicited communications through the contact form, or impersonate another person). The contact form is monitored; obvious automated abuse is recorded and may be reported.
6. Intellectual property
All text, layout, graphics, logos, custom illustrations and the overall arrangement of this website are owned by Velvetstreamerau Advisory Pty Ltd or used under licence, and are protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may read, share short quotations with attribution, and print individual pages for your personal use. You may not republish substantial portions of the site, train machine-learning models on the content, or use the Velvetstreamerau name or logo without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law contained in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), we limit our liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with the website or our services to, at our option, the resupply of the services or payment of the cost of having the services resupplied. Nothing in these Terms excludes any non-excludable consumer guarantees.
8. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, please contact our advisory desk at advisory@velvetstreamerau.com in the first instance. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may refer a tax-services-related complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board (tpb.gov.au) and a financial-services-related complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (afca.org.au).
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The 'last updated' date above reflects the most recent version. Where a change materially affects an existing engagement, we will notify the client directly before the change takes effect.
